Will the Real Terrorist
Please Stand Up

Gerardo Hernández, Ramón Labañino, Antonio Guerrero, Fernando González and René González, known as the Cuban Five, are five men who were wrongly accused and convicted of “conspiracy to commit espionage” and other fabricated charges in a U.S. Federal Court, following their arrest and imprisonment in 1998.  The Five were, in fact, unarmed men involved in monitoring Miami-based terrorist organizations, which are responsible for having caused the deaths of over 3,400 people in Cuba since 1959, including a resident of Canada, Fabio di Celmo, in 1997.  The Cuban Five’s efforts successfully prevented further deaths in Cuba.

A great victory for justice-loving people all over the world occurred in April of 2013 when René González permanently returned to Cuba, and again in February of 2014 when Fernando González was also released, after serving his sentence, to the arms of his family and of the Cuban people.

Gerardo, Ramón and Antonio remain unjustly in U.S. prison, serving sentences of up to double-life plus 15 years, but we are confident that through solidarity, consistency and united action, we can help end this injustice and welcome the day when ALL of the Cuban Five will be free!
